Got up early today. Ryan wanted to go to Bedok reservoir to help his friend take pictures of their dragon boating team. So he asked Minghui and me along. So it was like a Hotshoe outing. Heh. =D

Ryan came over to my house at around 8.30am. I was in my living room watching IT Crowd with my laptop. So watch 3/4 of an episode with Ryan before Minghui came over. Then took 72 down to Tampines, and changed bus over to Bedok Reservoir.

It was raining while we reached the reservoir. So we didn't take out our cameras until the rain has reached the level which wouldn't destroy our cameras when contacted. Then we started taking pictures of the dragon boat competition. They weren't very nice cause we were standing too far away. =/

Okay, this camera owned by Ryan's friend, Tisa. Nice name, hahaha! (: It's actually a film camera with four pinholes which opens at 0.22s interval. So it actually captures four different motions in a single frame. Cool!

Then we were trying out custom Black & White function on our camera and I just took this shot.

We've actually been trying to take in black and white for the whole day. So some pictures will be in black & white. (:

After a while we left Bedok reservoir and went to Tampines interchange for lunch. Took some pictures on the way too.

Then we had our lunch at Mac's at tampines interchange. We were discussing where to go to after lunch. So after a long debate I just said go to the train station and see the map and go to the place which seems the most appealing to us. Lol.

And we walked to the train station after lunch, looked at the map and decided to take a train to City Hall and thereafter walk to the Singapore Flyer. And we did just that. =D

Gosh, yet another one. =/ This one was taken in city link on the way to Marina Square. Movement panning.

We walked from City Hall mrt all the way to Esplanade by foot. Not many nice pictures taken on the way there. So yeah, not posting any pictures...

Except this! It was actually some kind of 90% reflective wall of a building.

And we reached the Singapore Flyer! We didn't go up into the cabins luh. We just toured around the premises except going into the cabin. =D

Save money. Heh. =P

 

And this was taken at the carpark opposite the Flyer. Quite a good view actually. If only it was a little higher up. =D

Weather was so hot. So we went to the Popeyes there for a short break. Just bad a cup of drink and rested. Left there about half an hour later.

Next we took pictures at the mini yakult garden. Love the sky today! xD

 

It was still early then, so we, being the super active type, went to Terminal 3. So walked back all the way to City Hall mrt and took train all the way down to Changi. =P

This was taken at a lorry along a pavement. It was carrying a load full of sand and junk. =P

After a like 20 minutes walk, we reached City Hall mrt (at last). So took a train all the way down to Changi Airport. Took pictures in the train too. =P

When all the passengers have left, he was the only one sitting on the opposite row. He kept looking at me so I just used my camera and shot from my bag. Estimation again.

Okay, then we walked around the basement of T3 then went to Popeyes for dinner. =D

So we each ate the 3 piece chicken strips. Only Ryan upsized his meal. We ate and talk lots of crap and laughed a lot.

After dinner, we went to the viewing gallery of Terminal 3. The sunset outside was great but we were being blocked by two layers of glass. -_- So the orangey sunset looked so greenish now.

And so many window panels were blocking our good view of the sunset so I just used telephoto and zoomed in all the way to the sun. =/

 

Gosh, and it's out of focus. -.-

Two phone booths at the viewing gallery. I doubt people use it anymore. It looks so untouched.

And then we tired taking black & white with simulated studio lighting by flash. Looks nice with a high aperture, it turned out to be very sharp. First two taken by me and my picture was taken by Minghui. I told him to take it directly in front but somehow he didn't. =/

Anyway, the camera used was Minghui's attached with my 50mm f/1.8

We left the viewing gallery after a while then went over to T2 via the skytrain.

I'm fascinated by this departure information board. Not because of the flipping letters. But what other characters besides the letters A-Z and numbers 1-9. There were actually !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, etc. Like when will they use such characters.

So we went down and took 27 back home. =D
