School on the second week was still not too relaxed or stressed. Physics and Chemistry lessons are more interesting than last year, because of more practical lessons. Almost once a week or a fortnight. English lessons are very lively because the teacher doesn't just teach from textbooks, not like the other teachers (especially Mrs Lo).

English teacher is called Miss Quan but she wants it pronounced it as Yuan instead of Quan. She has a lot of actions also, like she will swing her arms around and close her eyes while turning her head to one side.

Chinese is still the same, neither interesting nor boring. I wouldn't sleep in class or stayed extremely awake. She told us some story of what she experienced last year. It was a sad story and tears came down when she was telling us. I'd prefer her to tell us interesting stories rather than such emotional one. And she gave us a list of spelling words which was 165 or them! I wonder which super memory could remember so many words if all was tested in a day. Lucky it was separated into 10 per test.

A few polytechnics had their open house on today but we went to Singapore Polytechnic because there was free shuttle busses from school to SP.

There are many many diplomas to choose from. It's like a spoilt-for-choice situation. It's about time to think about the course I want to enrol in already.  There are also so many CCAs to choose from! More than 120 of them. I would definitely join the scuba diving or wakeboarding clubs.

We walked around the open house area and wandered off to the other block where there's a foodcourt with KFC, Pizza Hut, 7-11 etc. 

We took pictures for quite some time then left the poly at 5pm sharp. Some people even counted down. =X Took the train back from Dover station. The funny thing was that some people could not get into the fully packed train. So they waited for the next one. Then changing to Outram Park. Instead of taking back to hougang we went to harbour front first so we can take the empty train.

Met the girls and Alvin in harbour front too. Great minds think alike - taking the emptier train. Most of us went back home for dinner.
