A few students from my school went to the zoo today with some senior citizens from Hougang for service learning. We had to keep them company and talk to them, making sure they don't get lost and always walking fit. Some cannot walk long and always had to sit down for a break once in a while. There were a few who were very enthusiastic and walked faster than the students. The weather was pretty good. I thought it would rain because of the drizzle slightly earlier, but it didn't and those clouds helped cover the sun. Those old folks were very easily distracted and talked among themselves in dialect like Teochew, Cantonese etc. Below are some pictures taken throught today's excursion.
